Great little spot! Stayed here with my wife and three children. We had a family suite which had two large double beds and a double pull out sofa bed all of which were really comfortable! Room was clean and warm.The bathroom was large and shower worked amazingly. There was a coffee machine and a fridge in our room, the fridge seemed to freeze everything but I think we had it on the wrong temperature. The location was great, police precinct next door, right next to Penn Station so easy to get around and only a few stops from Central Park. There's liberty bagels literally a minutes walk if that which was great for breakfast. I believe the hotel offers breakfast but we didn't have it. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the reception was nice and welcoming, they also gave a bar opposite the check in desk. They can book you a private cab to the airport which does a flat fee which is upfront when they book it for you. Overall really happy with our stay would happily book again and very good value for money.
This place was great! 1st time staying in New York City! When my family got there and I was stressed about parking(driving in new york city is legit) the guy at the front desk Taukid(sp?) was there to answer all of my questions and really help me understand the layout of the city! And then anytime I had a question about food or venues either Taukid or Hassan was there to give me advice and directions! On the last day I had trouble with parking to get close enough for my bags(it was negative 22 windchill) once again Hassan was there to help me out! Hotel was great, service was great, family room was great, and even next to a police precinct so we felt safe and the officers we saw were awesome as well! If we return for the same event next year I will be staying here for sure!
we enjoyed our stay. clesn rooms, plenty of space. coffee and water in room daily. the entrance was great wjth the bar area right there. can bring friends back and have a drink if you want..menu looks great. also great walking distance to everything.
We booked family suite for 5 and it was so spacious and perfect for our family. The washroom was large with double sinks with an extra counter + sink in the center of the room that separated the desk area from the living room area. Lobby was worn and chaotic but we really enjoyed our stay with our suite. Unfortunately, no running water one day for a couple of hours or so due to a pipe burst and there was no notification nor accommodation given a daily facility fee was charged. Despite the pipe burst, we would stay there again.
First time staying at a Wyndham property and I was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean and had quite a bit of space which is rare for NYC. Great location - right next to a police station, not located on a busy street but right around the corner from everything. Small elevator and lobby but has luggage hold and free water provided. Would stay again and recommend.
This was an old building that was beautifully renovated in a great location walking distance from everything. Staff was super helpful and they allowed us to store our bags before check-in and after checkout. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend
The rooms are clean but pretty small. The air conditioning was noisy, which shows me certain lack of maintenance. Hotel placed in the heart of Manhattan, with just 5-20 minutes walking from various well-known sight places as Empire State, Rockfeller Center, Broadway, Times Square and Central Park.
We recently stayed in a 14th-floor corner room at TRYP, and the space and views were absolutely fantastic—easily the highlight of the stay. Check-in was a breeze, and the location is perfect for anyone wanting to be near Times Square without being right in the middle of the chaos. However, the room was freezing. To the staff's credit, they were very responsive and brought up a space heater and extra blankets immediately, but it seems like a known issue. The pizza from room service was surprisingly good! My only major complaint is the gym; it was quite dirty and lacked any sanitizing wipes, which made working out feel pretty unhygienic. Great for the location and the staff, but the HVAC and gym cleanliness need work.
